BEP Digital Voltage Sensitive Relay12V/24VThe DVSR is connected between two battery banks. When the DVSR senses a charging voltage [13.4VDC or 26.8VDC] on either of the banks, i.e. it is dual sensing, it activates and joins the two battery banks after a short delay of 5 seconds, so they are charged as one battery bank. Rated 125A continuously, 140 A intermittently, the DVSR auto senses whether the system is 12V or 24V. When the DVSR senses that batteries are not being charged [voltage drops to 12.8V or 25.6V] the DVSR deactivates following a 20 second delay, separating the combined battery banks into two isolated banks. Optional Storage Mode can be used where the boat/vehicle is stored for long periods without any battery charging, but with the batteries still connected. Power consumption is zero when this is activated. Alternatively, the storage mode can be wired via the ignition switch, so the DVSR can only operate when the engine is running. This provides optimal protection of electronics from electrical spikes, zero power consumption when ignition is off, and acts like a single sensing VSR as DVSR will only activate when engine alternator is charging. Integral LED indicates when the DVSR is activated. additional contact allows wire for remote indicator to be soldered on. The DVSR is solid state electronic, there are no relay contacts that can wear due to arcing. No voltage drop.

BEP Voltage Sensitive Motor Driven Battery SwitchThese Voltage Sensitive Switches automatically sense connected battery bank voltages and provide optimal, efficient charging of the second bank. The VSS allows for independent battery banks to be combined or isolated based on the presence of a charging source such as an engine alternator or battery charger, while also offering remotely activated, high current, emergency parallel connection. Designed and constructed for longevity in the marine environment with tinned copper conductors, stainless steel nuts, and high temperature, fibre reinforced plastics. The units are ignition protected, provide On/Off switching operation, and may be recessed or surface mounted. The remote emergency parallel function can be operated through a momentary button on the dash which will parallel the batteries for 10 minutes. Once this 10 minutes has passed, if the voltage is high enough, the voltage sensitive switch will stay engaged. If not, it will disengage. Dual battery sensing, manual override option.
