BEP Remote Operated Battery Switch 701-MD
The 701-MD battery switch allows for installation of the switch very close to the battery to be remotely controlled. This reduces cable lengths and sizes, providing significant savings in expense and weight without the disadvantages of limited contact ratings and power draw of contactors. They are also ideal for remote isolation of bow and stern thrusters. They include LED status identification for the remote control switch and have manual override capability. Standby current is 12mA. With the same mounting dimensions as standard BEP 701 battery switches, they can be surface or panel mounted. Rated 275A continuous, 455A intermittent 5 minutes and 1250A for crankjing.10 seconds.
